My personal message to any college coach is that I am a hard worker and i love the process, nothing up to now in my life has been giving to me. I am a strong do it all guard that loves to get after it on defense and I love to learn and expand my game to the fullest. I have also played on an international level with the Dominican Republic national team allowing me to play many different styles of the game.I also have many ambitions after basketball in the pharmaceutical and medical field. I would also like to have a conversation and a visit with any coaches interested in my abilities.
STATS/RECOGNITIONS: In his young career Marcos has accomplished many goals including: *2015 SMOOTH BALLERS SPRING CLASSIC 1ST PLACE/ MVP *3 AAU REGIONAL CHAMPIONS/ 1 AAU NATIONALS 2ND PLACE/ 1 AAU FLORIDA STATE CHAMPIONSHIP 2ND PLACE * 2018 USSA FLORIDA DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE TOURNAMENT * 2018 HOOP GROUP CAMP 9th GRADE MVP (SECOND SELECTED) AND ALL STAR TEAM. * 2019-20 2A FLORIDA DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP On April of 2019, Marcos was invited to play with the Dominican Republic U17 National Team. Recently, he was offered a scholarship to play with DME Sports Academy National Team in Daytona, FL. Unfortunately, DME decided to dissolve their national program. Currently, Marcos finished his junior year with 2018-19 2A State Champions Central Florida Christian Academy (CFCA). Marcos contribute CFCA to win 2019-20 2A DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP, as most valuable player with: 11pts 12reb 7assits 2steals.
Last year, playing as a combo guard, he helped Heart & Hustle Basketball Traveling Team Program to obtain remarkable victories and accolades from high school critics on social media; • Marcos 14 pts. 7 assists eliminating Team MOAM in AAU Florida State Championship. • Marcos 15pts. 5 assists against NIGHTRYDAS (EYBL TEAM) Battle of the Beach Tournament/ Daytona Beach May 2019. STRENGTHS: I believe my strengths are my on-the-court vision of the game, basketball IQ, intense defense, and attacking the basket hard with finishes with both hands. My experience playing international has giving me the opportunity to adapt to different types of basketball systems. I am a constant learner of the game and a good shooter.
