My name is Aaron Trill and I am in the class of 2020 at Keswick Christian School in St. Petersburg, Florida. I am a 6’5”, 205 lb. shooting guard who has started for the varsity basketball team for the past three years. During my years at Keswick I have received various team awards, including the “Total Release” award, Coach’s award, and Most Valuable Offensive Player for the past two seasons. For the past two years, I have been selected for honorable mention on the All-Pinellas County Team and nominated for the Mayor’s Showcase of Achievement in St. Petersburg. I have a weighted GPA of 4.31 and have posted a 27 on the ACT and a 1310 on the PSAT. My schedule includes both Honors and AP courses that serve to prepare me for college. I participate in extracurricular activities at my school, including our Wind Ensemble and Concert Choir. I was in the Pinellas All-County Band four years in a row, and in the Florida All State Choir three years in a row. Maintaining my grades, basketball training, and extracurricular activities has helped prepare me for the responsibilities I will have in college. Coach Zomermaand consistently challenges us to improve during the offseason, and our team has worked very hard to set and achieve goals. This season I averaged 18.2 points per game (ranked 7th in Florida 3A) and 7.9 rebounds per game. Personal highlights from this season included a 39 point game, 8 double/doubles, 13 games with 20+ points, and reaching 1000 career points. I work diligently to be a versatile scorer who can create high-percentage shot opportunities for myself and my teammates. I strive to be a leader on and off the court, whether it’s helping younger teammates with plays, or encouraging teammates in the hallways during school. My immediate goal is to be the best teammate in whatever way I can. I have posted video and updated personal information at www.actrill.wordpress.com and will provide a schedule for our upcoming season when it is released. I look forward to speaking with you at greater length about how I could contribute in both academics and men’s basketball.
